PSA Annual Meeting 2006 Field Trips

Field trip sign up is available on the on-line meeting registration web site.

Questions about the field trips? Contact Mike Stekoll (ffmss@uaf.edu).

Note: For all trips (except numbers 4, 5 and 16--the three phycological field trips), the following conditions apply:

  • Because of low early registration numbers, most of these trips will not be PSA-associated people only. The booking agent will attempt to put you with other members of PSA, but cannot guarantee it. You may be booked with other non-PSA visitors to Juneau. The latest date for booking on this basis will be 31 May.
  • There is a $33 cancellation fee per trip applied to any trips canceled by a participant after 3 April. This fee is waived if the trip is cancelled by the tour operator (i.e., if minimums are not met or because of weather conditions or other reasons).
  • All prices include 5% tax.
Note: For the three phycological field trips (numbers 4, 5 and 16), the following conditions apply:

  • For trips 4 and 5 (half day phycological field trips), a minimum number of participants is required by 1 May for the trips to go. The cut off for registering (presuming that the trips have made their minimum) is 31 May. For both, there is a maximum number of participants specified.
  • For trip 16 (post-meeting phycological field trip) the deadline for registration is 15 May. There is a minimum (20) and maximum (40) number of participants.
  • Full refunds for the phycological field trips will be given if they do not make the minimum number of participants. Cancellations prior to the 1 May (trips 4 and 5) or 15 May (trip 16) deadlines will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
