PSA 2008 Loyola University, New Orleans Accomodations:

Dorm Rooms at Loyola University –
Single and double occupancy dorm rooms are available.  Please contact the Program Director (T.J. Evens -- terence.evens@ars.usda.gov) to request a dorm room.  We are presently working on the method of payment for these rooms, but will reserve them starting immediately.  We will try to match roommates if requested.  Rates include a continental breakfast and are:

            $36/night double occupancy

            $46/night single occupancy

We have also reserved blocks of rooms at two hotels conveniently located to Loyola.  Registrants must indicate that they are with PSA when making reservations.

Banquet Information:

The banquet will be held at the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit of the Audubon Zoo.  The menu will feature the cuisine of Louisiana and offer many Cajun selections.  Guests will be transported through the zoo aboard the “Swamp Train” and will have full access to the entire Swamp Exhibit during the banquet.  We will be treated to a wonderful selection of Dixieland Jazz, one of the many musical styles born in New Orleans, by the “Joe Hebert Dixieland Band”.  Laissez les bons temps rouler!  Laissez les bons algues rouler!
