Travel Information

Travel by Air: The only airline that serves Juneau is Alaska Airlines and most passengers will connect via Seattle. PSA members can get a travel discount:of 5% off any published fares (excluding promotional fares) for any Alaska/Horizon Airline Flights to Juneau, Alaska. Valid Travel Dates for the discount are July 3, 2006 to July 15th, 2006. To take advantage of these discounts online at www.alaskaair.com, simply use the e-certificate code ECCMA0814 in the Flights Quick Search box.
Or by calling Alaska Airlines Group and Meetings Desk at 1-800-445-4435, or your travel agent and using reference ID number CMA0814.

Travel by Sea: An intriguing alternative to flying to Juneau is using Alaska's Marine Highway. Ferries leave from Bellingham, Washington or Prince Rupert, British Columbia and sail to Juneau along Alaska's Inside Passage. As described on their web site, "this treats passengers to spectacular natural beauty, an unmatched variety of wildlife, and a rich mixture of Native, Early Russian, and Gold Rush history." More information is available at http://www.dot.state.ak.us/amhs/.

Travel by Car: Traveling by road is possible by going to Skagway and taking the ferry down to Juneau. (Note that it is a very long drive to Skagway from the "lower 48.") A good reference book for this mode is available from: http://www.themilepost.com/.

General Travel Information can be found at the official Alaska tourism site: http://www.travelalaska.com/.
