Graduate Research Assistantships--Louisiana State University
Louisiana Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit is seeking a Ph.D. candidate beginning the 1995-1996 academic year.
Responsibilities: Research emphasis is phytoplankton ecology in the Atchafalaya River Basin; community succession on time scales (hourly/monthly) across hydrochemical gradients, and phytoplankter resets following storm oriented hypoxic events.
Requirements: Applicants must have B.S. and M.S. degrees in botany, phycology, biology, ecology or a closely related area and a minimum 3.00 GPA.
