Video Discs on Algae to be on Display at PSA Meeting in Breckenridge
Jeremy Pickett Heaps of the University of Melbourne will preview his upcoming videodisc, "Cellular Evolution in the Green Algae: Volvocales, Tetrasporales, and Chlorococcales." Jeremy writes that "The disc is in CAV/NTSC format, about 28 minutes per side, and will include, besides great video, lots of diagrams, SEMs, TEMs, etc." The disc is the second Jeremy has produced. The first, by Jeremy and Julianne Pickett-Heaps, published by Sinauer Associates, Inc. (23 Plumtree Road, Sunderland, MA 01375-0407), is entitled "Living Cells: Structure, Diversity, and Evolution."
