PSA Opening Reception & Ceremony in Memory of Dr. Norma Lang #PSAlgae2016
The PSA Opening Reception was held this evening in the atrium of the Dolan Science Center. Paul Gabrielson (PSA President) spoke about Dr. Norma Lang and her generous gift to the PSA. Dr. Lang's gift will support funds to increase funding for the Grant-In-Aid of Research fellowships, postdoctoral awards and the new Norma J. Lang Early Career Fellowships. This early career award will be up to $10,000 and awarded at the beginning of the successful applicants three year term as a Lang Fellow. More information on this award will be available on this website in December 2016 and the first award is expected to be given in July 2017.
